What Sealing Actually Does
- Protects colour from fading under UV and harsh winter sun.

When to Seal
New pavers should “breathe” before their first seal. We generally recommend waiting until any efflorescence (the natural white haze that can appear on new concrete pavers) has cleared — often several months to a year after installation. After that, resealing every two to four years keeps the protection topped up, depending on traffic and sun exposure.
When Sealing Isn’t Worth It
If your pavers are shifting, the base has failed, or weeds and moss have taken over, sealing is putting lipstick on a bigger problem.
